UNI Entrepreneurs constantly strives to prepare its members to become leaders in the business world. Affiliated with two national organizations, Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO www.c-e-o.org) and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE www.sife.org), members are provided various opportunities throughout the year to make a difference in their communities while developing skills to become socially responsible business leaders. The National CEO Conference is attended annually in the fall. The conference offers members the opportunity to network with entrepreneurial peers nationwide and learn from over 80 outstanding entrepreneurs and business leaders as they share their ideas and expertise. Throughout the year, teams work together to apply business concepts to develop outreach projects that improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need. In the spring, members present their results at SIFE regional and national competitions to business leaders serving as judges. An added plus to attending the SIFE competitions is the ability to interact with recruiters from Fortune 500 companies. Meetings are held in the Business and Community Services Building every other week. More information can be found at www.uni-e.org or on FaceBook, UNI Entrepreneurs (UNIE).
